On their behalf we’re searching for a seasoned Procurement Director to lead the procurement strategy, ensuring the best terms, quality, and economic advantage across the entire product assortment.

PROCURMENT DIRECTOR

The candidate will drive the procurement department’s strategy, overseeing assortment, pricing, supplier management, and quality assurance. This role involves close collaboration with marketing to ensure cohesive branding and pricing, as well as maintaining the quality and range of private label products.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement assortment, pricing, and purchasing strategies to maximize value and ensure alignment with company standards.
• Negotiate and secure optimal terms and prices with suppliers to uphold our competitive position as a market leader.
• Ensure compliance with company contracts, supplier agreements, and legal regulations.
• Lead initiatives to continuously improve operational performance in the procurement sector.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to develop a cohesive marketing strategy.
• Oversee quality assurance and manage the control and quality department to ensure standards are consistently met.
• Develop and manage a strategy for private label (PL) products, ensuring quality, availability, and effective distribution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing procurement team
• Expertise in assortment structure, pricing strategy, and procurement cycle management.
• Strong knowledge of global market trends and product quality control processes.
• Ability to develop and execute effective strategies for private labels, in&out items, and overall product presentation.
• Strategic leadership and collaboration skills to drive success across the procurement, quality, and marketing functions.
