The Role

Reporting to the Group AP & Treasury Manager in Toronto, this role will be a vital role in ensuring RLDatix’s costs are managed properly.

They will partner with other Accounting, Finance and other Operational teams and they will also be responsible for developing the appropriate strategies and implementing best practices that will enable operational excellence in the management of, accounting, and reporting of the groups costs.  

Responsiblities & Duties

  • To record complete and accurate costs
  • To ensure costs are approved within company policy
  • To ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers
  • Manage payment runs
  • Management of mailboxes and inbound queries
  • Produce recurring reports to monitor accounts payable
  • Work with the Group AP & Treasury Manager to implement and improve AP processes
  • Partner with the Finance & Other operational teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of costs allocations
  • Maintain strong controls while helping the business be nimble and efficient in decision making
  • Provide high quality ad-hoc analysis as required.

Skills, Qualities & Experience

Candidates should be a qualified accountant. The candidate must have a high degree of competence in Microsoft Excel and working for an SAAS based technology business.  The successful candidate must be able to communicate at all levels in the business, be a good culture fit, highly motivated, proactive, resilient and ambitious with the desire to progress in a fast moving and growing business. Knowledge of Salesforce and Financialforce would be beneficial.

Candidates must also be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel Skills and Intermediate PowerPoint capability
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal skills and be able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to influence backed by facts and sound judgement
  • Ability to build relationships across the region as well through matrix relationship with corporate Finance function
