Director of Talent Acquisition Position Overview: 

 

The primary responsibility of the Director of Talent Acquisition is to ensure a funnel of outstanding global candidates is created both actively and passively through effective marketing efforts for our purpose-driven, fast-growing organization. You must be the expert in recruiting global top-tier passive candidates with a proven process to build a solid pipeline of candidates. The successful Director of Talent Acquisition is driven for results, loves to thrive in a fast-paced, highly accountable environment and drives their team to do the same. This role reports to our client's CHRO and is a business partner to our client's CEO and hiring managers to propose initiatives, implement efficiencies, and engage with the organization to prioritize recruiting at all times. The working hours for this position are 3 pm to 11 pm, Mon – Fri.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage both a US and global recruitment team
  • Responsible for executive recruitment for the company
  • Train recruitment team to hire extraordinary talent based on our core values
  • Meet and exceed all recruitment service level agreements (time to fill, time to post, interview process length and more)
  • Partner with hiring managers to create thorough onboarding plans for all new hires
  • Effectively run strategic weekly recruitment meetings
  • Responsible for the recruitment of all executive-level positions
  • Utilize marketing efforts that lead to a pipeline of talent for current and future needs both in the US and globally
  • Review and negotiate all agency agreements
  • Implementing global recruiting strategies and processes that lead to successful hires that are a match to our core values
  • Devise networking opportunities that produce internal and external referrals
  • Source passive candidates through research, networking, relationships building, cold calling, complex Boolean internet searches and marketing using the latest social media and career sites, such as: LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, etc.
  • Create and maintain recruitment trackers that demonstrate all recruiting efforts at a glance
  • Craft, edit and present offer letters to new hires
  • Design and edit job descriptions and qualifying questions for each open role
  • Track, measure and report out on results via scorecards and scoreboards
  • Foster strong relationships and partnerships with managers in the organization to ensure all their recruitment needs are met

 

Most important experience and qualities we need in a Talent Acquisition Manager: 

 

  • 6+ years experience in a leadership role recruiting for US and global executive talent
  • Exceptional stakeholder management with a partnership approach
  • Significant experience in an internal talent acquisition role 
  • Passion for an exceptional candidate experience for all applicants
  • A proactive, responsive approach; ability to balance shifting priorities and ensure that deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded
  • Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication ability, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employer branding
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
  • Prior experience line managing team members both US and globally
  • Knowledge of employment laws, policies and techniques in US and globally
  • Intermediate to Advanced Level Microsoft Office and Google Docs skills
